You Say It’s Your Birthday?

Two Elle friend & fan Steve Cohen celebrates his birthday today. Steve’s kids from Nashville Academy of Rock take the 2L stage at 2 PM this Saturday, so lucky Steve gets to spend his birthday going over show details with Rachel. And just so that you all feel like you’re part of the celebration, here’s the plan for this Saturday:

2 PM Nashville Academy of Rock

3 PM Erin Manning

4 PM Ben Schofield

5 PM Ricky Braddy

6 PM Alvin Love

It’ll be a full day of music & new spring clothes. Oooh, and from 11-1 PM Popo will be doing Easter Egg painting!

Happy Birthday, Steve, and a happy Saturday for all of us!

3 Simple Steps . . .

. . . to dressing like Rachel Lowe:

1. Steven Alan plaid button down.

2. Converse Chuck Taylors. Any color.

3. Tarina Tarantino accessories. As many as possible.

It’s a simple formula, friends.

And it also works for boys…although we’d suggest skipping Step 3. Steven Alan + Chucks, however, should be everyone’s uniform for spring!

B & D Do Spring

Danny blew into town to work off those winter blues and took advantage of the opportunity to load up on 2L spring. The KZO hoodie is clearly a fave, as is Becca’s Wildfox giant heart sweatshirt.

Happy Spring, everyone! We’re ready for it!

Happy Birthday, Mikey! xoxo, Frank

It’s brother Mikey’s birthday!

Frank (our nutcracker, who, yes, remains a 2L staff member despite the change in season) has decided to dress it up in Steven Alan bow ties to celebrate. To most of you, March 20 means that spring is finally here. Well, given the shining sun at the Hill Center, we believe that is true, but to us March 20 means that it’s Mikey’s birthday, and that’s reason enough to rejoice.

Happy Birthday, Miko!

The Girls Have Gone to Wonderland

With Rachel at market and Becca on spring break, the 2L boys are officially in control. So, while Alice & the Queen are venturing down their own rabbit holes, we suggest you visit ours. This is perhaps your only chance to capture the candid male opinion and to compile your spring ensemble without the pressure of impressing those 2L ladies.

And as if this rare shopping opportunity isn’t enough, we’ve scored some free passes to the Thursday night sneak peek of Remember Me. We’ll be attending, and we’re happily giving out passes as a gift with any purchase!
