Get Chucked on V-Day

Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to exchange little tokens of adoration with the ones you care about. Little J, for example, received these black chucks (technically for her birthday, but with so many styles for boys and girls, we definitely have something that’ll do the Valentine’s trick).

Love Month!

Friends, it’s officially the month of love. We believe that Valentine’s Day is about celebrating all kinds of love, and, really, we just like seeing and hearing how much you love us. So, we’ve set up a little Valentine’s station at the store where you can drop off some love poems for us in exchange for a super sweet love discount. And, as always, our dear out-of-towners (we love you, t-money, baby cam cam, dlowe…..) are free to get creative in their love note methods…..

Happy Love Month, everyone!

Sunny Superbowl Sunday

It’s sunny today, friends! While most of you were __________ (insert football reference here; sorry, you know we’re basketball people!), we were happy to see that one of our favorite customers, one Mr. Nathan Diller, was taking advantage of a beautiful Sunday the way any normal person should: shopping!

Oh, and for those of you who need a guide: Modern Amusement tee (Nathan), KZO hoodie (Nathan), Built by Wendy tee (Ellie), Blank jeans (Ellie).

Thanks for shopping!

Family Visits!

Hooray for family! The Hetzel family came in from Chattanooga to visit us today. It’s always a whirlwind and always a pleasure, and we were happy to see that Mama Hetzel hooked Amanda up with those Converse by John Varvatos combat boots so that she can fight her way through the snow and glitz of New York Fashion Week!

Music at the Monkey

OK, you heard it here first! We are officially obsessed with Denitia Odigie.

Friday night, Frothy Monkey put on a little night of tunes, and Brian & Rachel were of course in attendance. He wore KZO, she wore Converse by John Varvatos, and Denitia wore the award for most powerful vocal stylings of the evening. Before her, Frothy’s own Dylan Ethier was the first to wow us, and then Art Four Sale shut the night down (and yeah, maybe we’re a little obsessed with them, too….especially because Steve Savage was rockin’ some white painted Converse by John Varvatos hi-tops, and our dear Ryan Pruitt was sportin’ his Built by Wendy jeans…).
