Invisible Children is an organization that is dear to us as well. We plan to get more involved, and you can do the same at http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php.
As KB explained, this Saturday, The Rescue will take place, where people across the world will come together to “abduct themselves” to honor and raise awareness for the child soldiers in Uganda who have been abducted by Joseph Kony. The Nashville Rescue will take place Saturday at 3 PM in Centennial Park, and you can learn more about the mission at http://therescue.invisiblechildren.com/en/.
And good news! If you can’t make it to The Rescue, you can still support the cause by shopping at Prom, because we will be donating a portion of our proceeds that night to Invisible Children.
So, get out there Saturday, shop at Prom, and make this world a safer place!
OK, friends! The Prom Committee met today, so now we know it’s official:
TWO ELLE PROM WILL BE THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!
For the next 2 weeks, we will become your source for all things prom. For now, clear your schedule for Friday night, May 1, and check the blog daily so that we can help you come up with the rest….
But seriously, it’s a prom. There will be dancing. There will be trite prom photos. And there will be punch.
On Sunday, April 12, we celebrated our two-year anniversary! To thank you all for helping us get to our terrible twos, we’re offering you a special deal all week as we enter year three: buy any 2 items, and get the 3rd 20% off!
Check out our April 10 post to get some ideas, and don’t forget to mention the code word: TERRIBLE TWOS!
We thought we’d give you a little preview of the fabulous springtime offerings available to you at tomorrow’s Egg Hunt!
Remember, coupons will be hidden in the eggs, Donut Den will be amazingly sweet, and Britten will hit the lawn to perform at 3!
And if you see something you like but find yourself anywhere but Nashville, give us a call (615.269.9954) or drop us an email (info@twoelle.com), and we’ll get them to you ASAP.
