Our dear Britten flirted with the idea of working at Two Elle for some time. He would come in, check out the merch, buy a few things, and chat Rachel up to see if maybe there was any hiring going on. He then tried to woo her with his sweet, smooth vocals by performing at the 2009 Two Elle Easter Egg Hunt (it was actually quite darling). Maybe Rachel truly was impressed with Britten’s musical talent (and she is!), or maybe it was that there were no boys on staff at the time (“dudes,” as Britten would call them), but somehow Britten made a home at Two Elle as more than just a featured solo act. Plus, no matter how far his music career takes him, he will always remain a part of Two Elle history, because his name was printed in the largest font on the poster for the Hill Center Grand Opening Show. Oh, and buy his album on itunes. Now.

    We are a lifestyle boutique for women and men, bringing all of our favorite things to Nashville. Our goal is to create a retro collegiate-themed lifestyle, enhanced with colorful, modern undertones. We always have one eye curiously gazing back at the traditions of our past, both distant and recent, while the other feverishly seeks out the next big thing.

    Our President received her favorite compliment yet when an onlooker called her a "grown-up Punky Brewster," and that is exactly who we are: young, fun, creatively mismatched, and willing to take risks.
