As spring rustles through the green leaves of The Hill Center, we remember fondly the sing-songy days of life on 12South. Fear not, though friends; life can still be a dream! We may not have a porch swing, but our couch has bravely taken its place as the 2L social center. On any given day you can see some of these faces cheering our store, warming our hearts, and reminding us that big or small, we’ll still be your local neighborhood kids!

Friends, we’re quite excited to team up with local fashion initiative Naked Without Us for their Boutique Crawl Friday night! We’re staying open late, and we’ll have live music from The Mercy Birds and Jason O’Toole. Plus, our neighbors Monkee’s, Posh, and Hemline are participating, and if you present receipts from 3 participating stores, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win gift certificates to all the participating stores. Friends, at this moment 3 years ago, Frothy Monkey’s Miranda was setting up coffee for our grand opening, Mallory & Amanda were feverishly tagging merchandise, and Rachel was, well, losing her mind. This notion of “perhaps I’ll open a clothing store” was about to become a reality. There was a team of friends & family, small but strong, helping out, and there was a darling little house on 12South that was about to become a home. Throughout the years, we’ve had countless adventures, countless obstacles and successes, countless triumphs with friends and family, and countless colors of classic chucks.
